1. Tugas-tugas  manajemen pemasaran

              Manajer mempunyai banyak tugas yang dapat ditinjau dari segi fungsi manajemen yang dilakukan dibidang pemasaran , yaitu bagaimana proses manajemen itu yang dijalankan untuk mengubah sumber-sumber menjadi produk yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen.

              Tugas manajer pemasaran itu tidaklah sederhana,dimulai jauh sebelum produk itu dibuat dan tidak akan berakhir sampai produknya terjual. Sebagai tugas manager pemasaran itu adalah:

1. Mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen;
2. Mengembangkan suatu konsep tentang suatu produk yang akan ditunjukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang belum terpenuhi;
3. Mengadakan pengujian terhadap kecocokan konsep produk tersebut dengan keinginan konsumen;
4. Membuat desain produk;
5. Merancang kemasan merk;
6. Menetapkan harga sedemikian rupa untuk dapat pengembalian investasi yang layak;
7. Mengatur distribusi;
8. Memperhatikan dan memenuhi kepuasan konsumen;
9. Menyusun dan memperbaiki rencana pemasaran yang didasarkan pada hasil.

Kesimpulan

Dari rincian tugas yang bermacam-macam diatas dapat dikatakan bahwa seorang manajer pemasaran itu juga dapat berfungsi sebagai seorang peneliti psikolog,sosiolog,ekonom,komunikator dan ahli hokum yang menggali berbagai masalah dan persoalan tang berkaitan. Jadi ,tugasnya tidak terlepas dari bidang keilmuan seperti ekonomi,psikologi,sosiologi,kominikasi,dan sebagainya.
